CASPER, Wyo. - The Bureau of Land Management, in conjunction with the Federal Highway Administration, is seeking public input on a proposal to improve Muddy Mountain Road and parking areas within the Muddy Mountain Environmental Education Area south of Casper. The 14-day public comment period ends October 10.

The BLM was recently awarded funding to improve access to the 1,260-acre recreation area through the Federal Lands Transportation Program. The BLM and Federal Highway Administration are asking for public input to identify issues or provide information that could be useful in analyzing the proposal.
