25th Anniversary Birthday Bash 8/11/03

8/11/200You are invited to come together with the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area in celebrating its twenty-fifth year of existence. Our Silver Anniversary promises to be a Grand Birthday Bash, with fun for the whole family! A variety of activities have been planned: canoeing, campfires and storytelling, book signings, and live music to lift your spirits! Come witness the Native American dances, hear the legends that surround the river, listen for the pinging of the blacksmith, hard at work, and watch for the blue and grey encampments.

Please join us in our celebration which will be held at the Chattahoochee River Environmental Education Center, 8615 Barnwell Rd., Alpharetta, Georgia. This two day event is happening on Saturday, Aug. 16, from noon until nine o’clock p.m., and on Sunday, Aug. 17, from noon until five o’clock p.m. Parking will be at Barnwell Elementary School with a courtesy shuttle to bring you to and from the Birthday Extravaganza.
