Visitor Study Results Available on Website

The following press release was published by the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service on June 19, 2004. It is reproduced in full below.

The results of the Visitor Services Project are now available on the Fort Stanwix National Monument website. The Visitor Services Project will assist park management in making decisions on facility use, interpretive programming, and resource management goals. In addition to assisting the NPS make decisions for managing the park, the data provided will assist park staff in communicating information to external audiences and the community.

According to Superintendent Mike Caldwell "This baseline information will assist the to better manage Fort Stanwix as well as assist us and our community partners in targeting our marketing efforts."
