Notice to Mariners – Changes in Aids to Navigation Overton Arm Area of Lake Mead 31-07

Lake Mead Recreation Area Superintendent William K Dickenson announces changes to Aids to Navigation in the Overton Arm area of Lake Mead. Due to lowering water levels, the following Navigation Aid has been established:

Ramshead Rock “#8A" is located at:

36 degrees 16 minutes 00.4 seconds north

114 degrees 24 minutes 24.7 seconds west

This aid will show a red triangle day mark and a red “quick flash" sequence. The red light will be on for 0.3 seconds, then off for 0.7 seconds. The entire sequence is then repeated.
