West Side Acadia Road Closures

Bar Harbor, Maine - Acadia National Park will be repaving park roads and parking lots on the west side of Mt. Desert Island this fall. Work will require temporary closures during the day at Beech Hill Road (Acadia portion only), Seawall picnic area, Pretty Marsh picnic area, Ike’s Point beach, Acadia Mountain parking area, Wonderland parking area, Ship Harbor parking area, and St. Sauveur parking area.

Lane Construction will begin work on the park section of Beech Hill Road on Monday, September 21. The work is expected to last for several days.
