Ocracoke Welcomes New Filly

The NPS Ocracoke pony herd welcomes a new member, a filly named Paloma. Paloma was born on a warm spring morning, March 22, 2010, to Spirit, a full-blooded Ocracoke pony. The Ocracoke School children chose the name of the newest member of the herd which means "dove" in Spanish.
