Beginning Sunday, Oct. 2, several visitor centers throughout Gateway National Recreation Area will have new operating schedules. The new schedule is based on visitor patterns and anticipated staffing levels for the coming year.
Jamaica Bay Unit

*The Spermaceti Cove Visitor Center will be closed until the summer of 2012.*
