Ban Lifted on Lakebed Camp Fires at Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area

The following press release was published by the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service on Oct. 13, 2011. It is reproduced in full below.

In accordance with the 2011 Superintendent's Compendium, Superintendent Debbie Bird has lifted the ban on camp fires on the exposed lakebed. The park is no longer experiencing periods of high fire danger.
