Petrified Forest, AZ-Petrified Forest National Park will host the Cultural Art Market on Saturday, June 23, 2012, 10:00am to 4:00pm. The park invites regional artists and craftsmen to share their talent and skills-artists can also offer pieces for sale through the park's museum association. Leatherworkers, blacksmiths, musicians, dancers, jewelers, beaders, weavers (textiles and baskets), fetishes and katsina carvers, potters, painters, other traditional American Indian and Western arts and crafts-all are encouraged to attend and show the park's visitors the diversity of this region's culture and heritage.

Admission to this event is free to the public; it will be just outside the park entrance. The market will be held in the Petrified Forest Community Building and Plaza near the Painted Desert Visitor Center at the north end of the park, just off of Interstate 40 at Exit 311. Parking is also free.
