The following press release was published by the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service on May 17, 2012. It is reproduced in full below.

Bill Aldrich, of Gettysburg, donated a greens mower to Eisenhower National Historic Site to help care for Ike's putting green. The donation will improve the park's ability to care for the putting green, which the Professional Golfers Association installed at the president's home in the 1950s. The National Park Service protects and preserves the resources associated with Eisenhower NHS in order to promote understanding and appreciation of the life, work and times of Dwight David Eisenhower.
