Hike Liberty Bell Arch Feb 23
Traverse a narrow wash through ancient river beds past the remains of a World War II-era mine on a moderate guided six-mile hike Feb. 23. Valley of Fire Stage Race Feb 24

Caveman Run March 2
Around 500 runners will race through Lake Mead National Recreation Area 8 to 11:30 a.m. March 2 during the Caveman Run. The race includes a 5K, 12K and half marathon run along River Mountains Loop Trail and Historic Railroad Tunnel Trail. Six Tunnels Half Marathon March 16
Around 1,000 runners will race through Lake Mead National Recreation Area 8 a.m. to noon March 16 during the 11th annual Las Vegas Six Tunnels to Hoover Dam St. Patrick's Day Run. The race includes a 1-mile stroll, 5K, half marathon and two-person relay run along River Mountains Loop Trail and Historic Railroad Tunnel Trail.
