Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia: As a part of the celebration of National Park Week, Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park invites you to join a ranger for a special 45 -minute program on the national parks, Saturday, April 27 at Chickamauga Battlefield Visitor Center, at 2:00 p.m.

From the exploding geysers and snorting bison of Yellowstone to the endless motion of the Everglades' sea of grass, national parks contain many of our nation's most treasured landscapes. Yet with more than 400 units in all 50 states, the national parks tell a story for everyone. Remnants of ancient civilizations, memories of stirring battles and sagas of exploration, echoes of feet marching for freedom are all experiences you may have in your National Parks. Join Park Ranger Will Sunderland and explore how national parks offer something to all because they encompass a piece of all of us: who we were, who we are, and who we will be.
