Commercial Services Strategy Open House

The following press release was published by the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service on June 24, 2013. It is reproduced in full below.

Members of the business community and the public are invited to provide input on a Commercial Services Strategy for Curecanti National Recreation Area (CURE). This strategy is now being developed to assess the type and quality of services offered to park visitors.

The park is accepting comments online at https://parkplanning.nps.gov/cure_css. The website will be open through Friday, Aug. 2, 2013.

The park's management team is seeking feedback on current services offered at Curecanti - including marinas, boat rentals, campgrounds, restaurant and convenience stores. The National Park Service is also soliciting suggestions for new services the park might offer in future.

An open house will be held to discuss the Commercial Services Strategy on Thursday, July 25, 2013, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Fred R. Field Western Heritage Center, 275 S. Spruce Street, Gunnison. All are welcome to attend.
