The public is invited to join park rangers and volunteers for programs at Congaree National Park in July. All programs are free and begin at the Harry Hampton Visitor Center. Remember that summer weather has arrived at Congaree. Please check the forecast before heading out. Visitors are encouraged to bring water, sunscreen and bug spray on all summer programs.
Better with Age: Join a ranger for a short program about the value of Congaree's towering old-growth forest.

Through an ongoing partnership with Fulmer Middle School art teacher Melanie Ward, student art and poetry depicting moths and butterflies will be on display in the Harry Hampton Visitor Center throughout July. The facility is open 9:00 am-5:00 pm daily.
