The Denali Park Road will be closed between the Rock Creek Bridge just east of Park Headquarters (Mile 3) and Mile 5 for two periods during the late evening of Wednesday, July 10 and early morning of Thursday, July 11 in order to remove the pedestrian bridge at Rock Creek and to complete the culvert replacement project at Mile 5. The removal of the pedestrian bridge over Rock Creek will require using a crane that will block access to the vehicular bridge.
The closure times will be from: 11:30 pm to 1:30 am and 2:30 am - 4:30 am. The road will re-open for one hour between those two closures.
