A photography program will take place at 7:00 p.m. (EDT) on Saturday, Aug. 3, at the Oscar Blevins Farm in the Bandy Creek area at Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area. Visitors will learn quick and easy tips for all photography levels while out enjoying the Big South Fork. Visitors will also learn the principles of Leave No Trace and have the opportunity to meet the park horses and learn about how horses have historically been used by the National Park Service.

The Oscar Blevins Farm can be found on the Bandy Creek Road. Follow the Bandy Creek Road past the Visitor Center and the campground. Continue straight as the road turns from pavement to gravel. Drive past the Lora Blevins Farm and the Katie Blevins Cemetery and take the first left turn. In case of inclement weather, the program will be held in the Interpretation and Education Building located beside the Bandy Creek Visitor Center.

For more information, please call the Bandy Creek Visitor Center at (423) 286-7275.
