Limited Access to Asan Beach Restrooms

The following press release was published by the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service on Aug. 9, 2013. It is reproduced in full below.

The restrooms at the Asan Beach Unit of War in the Pacific National Historical Park will be intermittently closed over the next several weeks due to sewage removal issues. Closures will most likely occur on the week days, but may be required at any time. Weekly pumping of the lift station will keep the restrooms open as much as possible until permanent sewage line repairs can be completed. Visitors are asked to refrain from using sinks for showering as this puts unnecessary strain on restroom facilities. We apologize for any inconvenience closures may cause and thank the public for their cooperation.
