National Parks Re-open To Visitors

Eagle, AK - Yukon-Charley Rivers National Preserve re-opens to visitors today. Visitors can access public areas immediately while facilities and other public services are brought back online. Yukon-Charley Rivers National Preserve has been closed since October 1 due to the lapse in Congressional appropriations.

"We are excited happy to be back at work and welcome visitors to Yukon-Charley Rivers National Preserve," said Superintendent Greg Dudgeon. "Autumn is a particularly special season to enjoy all that Yukon-Charley Rivers has to offer."

Yukon-Charley Rivers National Preserve urges you to go explore the national parks of Alaska and discover these cherished lands that have been preserved for past, current, and future generations.
