Fort Pulaski to Celebrate 152nd Anniversary of Confederate Nog Party

WHAT: Fort Pulaski Candlelantern Tours

Fort Pulaski National Monument will commemorate the 152nd anniversary of the Confederate Nog Party of 1861. The long-lived Savannah tradition will continue this year with night-time tours of the historic fort by candlelight and oil lamps to include hot cider, cookies, music, caroling, and historic weapons firings. Don’t miss this historic way to celebrate the holidays!

WHEN: Friday, Dec. 13, 2013 & Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013

Six programs will be offered each evening at 6:00, 6:30, 7:00, 7:30, 8:00, and 8:30 PM.

WHERE: Fort Pulaski National Monument

U.S. Highway 80, 15 miles east of Savannah.

Near Tybee Island, Georgia

TICKETS: $5 per adult

Children 15 and under are free, but reservations must also be made for children. Advanced ticket purchase is highly recommended. Tickets may be purchased in person from 9 AM to 4 PM by cash, check (made payable to “National Park Service"), or credit card. Credit card orders are accepted by phone at (912) 786-4383 from 10 AM to 3 PM.
