The following press release was published by the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service on April 16, 2014. It is reproduced in full below.

The National Park Service will celebrate National Junior Ranger Day at Charles Pinckney National Historic Site from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2014. There the National Park Service interprets Charles Pinckney's role in developing the U.S. Constitution, the development of the young United States, and plantation life in the South Carolina Lowcountry.

Charles Pinckney National Historic Site is located at 1254 Long Point Road in Mount Pleasant. The park is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. except for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Days. Entrance is free. For more information, call (843) 881-5516.
