Baker Tribute at Big South Fork on Saturday, August 30

As a tribute to the late Senator Howard H. Baker Jr., an American Bald Eagle will be released at East Rim Overlook in the Big South Fork at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 30. The event is being coordinated by the American Eagle Foundation, the Baker Donelson law firm, and the Howard H. Baker Jr. Center for Public Policy, in partnership with the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area.

All are welcome to attend. East Rim Overlook is located at the end of East Rim Overlook Road off of Leatherwood Road, less than one mile from the eastern park entrance. For moreinformation about the event, please contact Dave Carney at (423) 569-9778.
