WHAT:
The National Park Service will conduct a media tour of the Flight 93 National Memorial Visitor Center Complex, which includes the Visitor Center, Flight Path Walkway, and the Learning Center, all three of which are currently under construction. The tour will visit the erected walls of the Visitor Center as well as the overlook looking down the Flight Path Walkway; comments from participants will provide an update on the current status of the project, as a well as discussion of the timeline going forward.
Following the tour of construction site and statements by each of the participants, there will be a period of general questions and answers. Participants will be available for one-on-one interviews following the session.
Participants should dress accordingly to walk through the construction area; sturdy walking shoes are a must.
