Fort Stanwix National Monument has new winter hours.
Beginning January 5, and lasting until March 31, 2015, the park visitor center will be open from 9 am to 5 pm Wednesday through Sunday. It will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. The fort will also be accessible by guided tour at 10 am and 2 pm Wednesday through Sunday, weather permitting.
During this time, park trails will still be accessible 7 days a week. You are also welcome to enjoy the free park cell phone tour at any time while you walk the grounds, at ph# 315-271-2059.
