Deadline to Apply for Summer Cultural Demonstration Series at Haleakalā National Park

The deadline to apply for this summer's Hana No`eau cultural demonstration series is April 30. The series will run from early June through late August. An honorarium of $200 will be offered to each group of practitioners, through support from the Hawai`i Pacific Parks Association.

Hana No`eau refers to honoring and demonstrating Native Hawaiian traditions. The series is in its second year and is open to all practitioners, especially schools and community youth groups. Kīpahulu District cultural demonstrations will occur between 1pm and 3pm on Sundays and Mondays. Summit District demonstrations will occur between 10am and 12pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
