VIKING LODGE & CARIBOU CREEK PUBLIC USE CABINS REOPEN

Copper Center, Alaska- The Viking Lodge and Caribou Creek Public Use Cabins along the Nabesna Road have reopen for use.

Both cabins had been broken into and entered by a bear(s) in mid-July. The cabins were temporarily closed and barricaded in order to protect public safety and the facilities.

Visitors should contact the Park Headquarters Visitor Center at 907-822-7250 for the latest information regarding public use cabins.
