The following press release was published by the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service on Sept. 22, 2015. It is reproduced in full below.

MEDORA, ND: Theodore Roosevelt National Park will offer free admission on Saturday, September 26. The National Park Service and other federal public land management agencies will waive entrance fees for National Public Lands Day. Regular camping fees will be charged.

"This is an excellent chance for visitors to experience the park, spend time outdoors, and enjoy the last of the beautiful fall colors," said Chief of Interpretation Eileen Andes. "We'd also like this opportunity to remind everyone that the park is open year round to welcome visitors."

National Park Service entrance fees will also be waived on Veteran's Day, November 11.

Information on all 408 national park units nationwide is available at www.nps.gov.
