Change in Visitor Center Hours at Monocacy National Battlefield

The following press release was published by the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service on Feb. 4, 2016. It is reproduced in full below.

FREDERICK: In order to better serve our visitors during peak hours and to be consistent with surrounding National Parks, Monocacy National Battlefield will change the visitor center hours beginning Feb. 15, 2016. The new visitor center hours will be 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. The battlefield itself is open until 20 minutes after sunset. The visitor center, museum, and battlefield are free to the public and open every day except Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's.
