St. Augustine, FL - In honor of Women's History Month, Castillo de San Marcos National Monument will

host a special evening event on Saturday, March 12, 2016.

Though St. Augustine was primarily a military city throughout its long history, it could not have

survived or thrived without the ladies of the community. Join us for a guided

tour of the Castillo during which you will meet women from St. Augustine's past

and learn about the city's rich history through their unique stories.

Programs will last about 45 minutes each, departing from the ticket booth at 6:30, 7:00, 7:30, and

8:00 pm. Nonrefundable tickets are available on a first come, first served

basis and go on sale two weeks prior to the event. Tickets may be purchased in

advance at the ticket booth or by phone by calling (904) 829-6506 ext. 232. Space

is limited. The cost is $10 per adult ages 16 and up, $5 per child ages 5 to

15, and children under 5 free. For questions, please call (904) 829-6506 ext.
