Music to Celebrate 100 Years at Sagamore Hill National Historic Site

Oyster Bay, NY- Join us on Sunday, June 26 at 6:00PM in honor of the National Park Service's 100th birthday. Sagamore Hill will present a classical jubilee of favorite instrumental and vocal selections from the very talented young musicians of the Oyster Bay Music Festival. The concert will feature a mix of music, including the Long Island premiere of Children's Earth Anthem - a musical collaboration between lyricist Louise Phillips and composer Charles Eversole to be song across America this summer in honor of the National Park Service Centennial Children's Celebration.

From Mozart and Chopin to songs of America, there is sure to be something for everyone. Among the performers will be 13 year old pianist Maxim Lando, a protégé of superstar pianist Lang Lang, and the only American to have been awarded Gold Prize at the International Television Competition for Young Musicians in Moscow.

This FREE concert will begin at 6:00PM on the front porch of Theodore Roosevelt’s Home. This activity is rain or shine. Attendees are encouraged to bring a beach chair or blanket.
