Save the Date! National Park Service Hosts Summer Beach Cleanups

As the National Park Service continues to celebrate its centennial, Cape Hatteras National Seashore is hosting two beach cleanups. The public is invited to participate July 28 and August 17 from 9-11 am.

July 28, 2016 - Ocracoke Island, Lifeguarded beach parking lot

Aug. 17, 2016 - Hatteras Island, Old Cape Hatteras Lighthouse Site parking lot

Bring leather gloves, water, snacks, and sunscreen. Wear appropriate clothing, including closed-toe shoes and hats. Trash bags will be provided. Children under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian with them.
