USPP Investigates Armed Robbery

Washington - On Monday, Dec. 12, 2016 shortly before 8:00 p.m. a woman was flagged down as she drove down Joyce Road west of 16th Street NW. The woman reports that a man flagged her down and asked if she could help him by jump starting his car, a dark red colored older model SUV with a large silver grill. As she retrieved jumper cables from her trunk, the man produced a silver colored handgun and demanded her wallet and other valuables.

A second man entered her vehicle and searched for more items before both men got back into their SUV and fled the area. The woman was not injured. Both men are described as black, between 19-24 years of age, approximately 5’10" and had on dark clothing.
