Experience your national park through art! Join us at Mound City on select Tuesdays this summer for Art in the Park with teacher Maryjo Flamm-Miller. Learn about different artists, art styles, and art techniques each week! Then make art yourself - paint, sculpt, draw, collage. The class is FREE for all participants. Supplies will be provided.
Class dates: June 20, 27; July 11, 18, 25; August 1
Public Art Show of Student Work: Tuesday, August 1st - 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Class times:
9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.: Students who have completed grades K-2.
12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Students who have completed grades 3-6.
You may sign up for the series all at once or sign up for individual dates as the summer progresses. Sign-up is required one week prior to the scheduled class date. Parents are required to stay at Mound City Group during the class period.
Miss Maryjo is interested in having parent volunteers assist with the classes. If you are interested in volunteering, please indicate your interest in assisting when you call to schedule your children and Miss Maryjo will contact you with details.
