INDIANA DUNES NATIONAL LAKESHORE: Join the Chicago Field Museum’s Jim Louderman on Saturday, June 10, from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore’s Paul H. Douglas Center as he shares his knowledge of insects and spiders. After checking out Jim’s display of live and preserved specimens inside the center, head outside for a guided hike to look for insects in Miller Woods.
The Paul H. Douglas Center for Environmental Education is located in the western portion of the national lakeshore at 100 North Lake Street, about one mile north of U.S. Highway 12 in the Miller neighborhood of Gary.
