October Public Programs at War in the Pacific National Historical Park

October 7, Saturday: at Asan Beach - “Art in the Park"

Learn to paint during our artist led painting sessions! Come and embrace your creativity and learn about the rich history, culture, and natural resources of War in the Pacific National Historical Park. This event is open to participants age 12 and above, including adults. Painting sessions start at 1:00 pm and end at 5:00 pm. Registration is required, and art supplies will be provided free of charge. The painting session will be led by our 2017 Artist-in-Residence, Amber Word.

Oct. 14, Saturday: 9 am at Asan Beach - “Keep Guam Beautiful"

This community cleanup will take place at Asan Beach - a former WWII invasion site. Cold water in coolers, protective gloves, and trash bags will be provided. Please bring refillable water bottles and wear closed-toe shoes, hats, and sunscreen. All ages are welcome. Service Learning credit is available. For more information, contact e-mail us.

Oct. 15, Sunday: 2 pm at the Visitor Center - “Science Sunday"

Science Sunday features current research projects happening right here on Guam and the Micronesian region. Open to all ages. No pre-registration is required. For more information on this event, call 333-4050 or email gureefmonitoring@gmail.com.
