Wright Brothers National Memorial Reopening After Winter Storm Cleanup

The following press release was published by the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service on Jan. 8, 2018. It is reproduced in full below.

Wright Brothers National Memorial will reopen at 9:00 am on Tuesday, January 9.

Last week’s winter storm left significant ice accumulation on the parking lot and most roads and walking paths. Post-storm cleanup efforts over the last couple days and today’s warmer temperatures have helped to create a safe environment for visitors again.
