U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Donates Life Jackets to Voyageurs National Park

INTERNATIONAL FALLS, MN: The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla #091-30-07 donated ten lifejackets to Voyageurs National Park this year in the hopes to increase youth safety. The Auxiliary was awarded a grant from the National Safe Boating Council to promote youth wearing personal flotation devices (PFD’s). Voyageurs National Park will use the PFD’s for youth at the Rainy Lake, Kabetogama, and Ash River Visitor Centers.
