The following press release was published by the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service on June 28, 2018. It is reproduced in full below.

The National Park Service (NPS) will issue a prospectus on June 28, 2018 soliciting proposals for a concession contract for marina services at the Kettle Falls Marina located within Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area.

In response to public input, the business opportunity for a 10-year contract includes new services not included in previous contracts, such as water taxi service and boat tours. The contract will continue amenities that have been in the area for a number of years, such as fuel sales, sewage pump-out, a convenience store, and slip rentals for boat moorage. The operator will also be able to provide houseboats and marine craft rentals, primitive cabins, water taxi service, and boat tours.

A site visit will take place on July 17, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Interested businesses will have the opportunity to tour facilities and view current operations. Appointments are required for the site visit.
