Mid-Fall Hours at National Military Park

The hours of operations for the public buildings of Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Military Park will change starting Wednesday, October 17 for the middle of the fall season.

The mid-fall hours will include:

Fredericksburg Battlefield Visitor Center:

Daily, 9:00-5:00

Sunken Road Walking Tour - 35-minute guided walk

Starts at Fredericksburg Battlefield Visitor Center

Saturdays and Sundays, (check at visitor center for times of tours)

Chancellorsville Battlefield Visitor Center:

Daily, 9:00-5:00

Jackson Wounding Walking Tour - 35-minute guided walk

Starts at Chancellorsville Battlefield Visitor Center

Saturdays and Sundays, (check at visitor center for times of tours)

Chatham: Daily 9:00-4:30

"Stonewall" Jackson Shrine:

Friday through Tuesday (closed Wednesday and Thursday), 9:00-5:00

Wilderness Battlefield Exhibit Shelter:

(check at visitor centers for weekend staffing schedule)

“Grant vs. Lee: No Turning Back" 45-minute guided walk

Starts at the Wilderness Battlefield Exhibit Shelter

(check at visitor centers for times of weekend tours)

Ellwood - a historic plantation on the Wilderness Battlefield

Saturdays and Sundays, 10:00-5:00

Spotsylvania Battlefield Exhibit Shelter:

Park historian on duty Sundays only, 10:00-6:00

Bloody Angle Walking tour - 45 minutes

Starts at Spotsylvania Battlefield Tour Stop #3

Sundays only, 1:00 and 4:00

These hours will remain in effect through Tuesday, November 6, 2018.
