Yellowstone fire danger lowered to high

The following press release was published by the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service on Sept. 25, 2018. It is reproduced in full below.

* With the arrival of cooler weather and some moisture, the fire danger in Yellowstone has been lowered to HIGH.

* There are currently no fire restrictions in the park. As always, campfires are only permitted in fire rings in campgrounds and some backcountry campsites. All campfires must be cold to the touch before abandoning: soak, stir, feel, repeat.
