Celebrate Junior Ranger Day May 11

WINTER HARBOR, MAINE - On Saturday May 11 join park rangers to celebrate “Junior Ranger Day" with a day full of free family activities and outdoor events. Meet at Eliot Hall on the Schoodic Point campus near the water tower, rain or shine. Event is open from 1-4 pm and geared toward children ages 12 and under accompanied by an adult.

Activities for children include learning about forest animals, pond habitats, plants, and sea creatures. Test your skills at the Animal Olympics, try ranger rescue equipment, work on an art project, and earn a Junior Ranger patch. This event is sponsored by the National Park Service and Schoodic Institute at Acadia National Park. For specific information on this event, please call 207-288-1310.
