Dyea Townsite Road Closed Due to Heavy Snow Fall

The following press release was published by the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service on Jan. 26, 2020. It is reproduced in full below.

The accumulation and weight of snow has prevented the National Park Service from plowing the Dyea Townsite Road until heavy equipment can be brought in. The National Park Service anticipates opening the road within the next 36 hours; however, sustained inclement weather could cause further delays.
