National Park Service Announces Additional Services Available in October

The following press release was published by the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service on Sept. 28, 2020. It is reproduced in full below.

Saguaro National Park is planning to reopen our visitor centers and resume in person fee collection starting on Thursday, October 1. However, due to limited staffing the visitor centers will reopen from 8am to 2pm, 5 days per week, Thursday through Monday and will continue to be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for now.

Both visitor centers have mitigations in place, including additional hand sanitizer, rigorous cleaning schedules, plexi-barriers between staff and visitors, and a limit on the number of visitors permitted in the building at once.

Contactless fee collection will continue to be an option, with opportunities to pay fees online, prior to arriving to the park or at the trailheads.

Information will continue to be available on the patio, and many questions can be answered on our website. www.nps.gov/sagu
