The National Park Service will temporarily close approximately 1.3 miles of the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail between Vaughn Road and the northernmost entrance to the Old Carriage Trail in Sagamore Hills from 7 am on Tuesday, October 11 through 4 pm on Friday, October 14.
This closure is necessary for public safety while crews remove trees and vegetation near electrical lines along the trail.
