Former Black Stars coach Milovan Rajevac wants another opportunity to manage the Ghana national team
The Serbia coach was sacked after the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations following Ghana’s poor performance in Cameroon
Milovan Rajevac had two stints with the Black Stars and led Ghana to their best performance at the 2010 World Cup
Milovan Rajevac is not giving up his third spell with Ghana’s Black Stars after claiming he still has scores with the national team.
The Serbian coach was released after surveillance Ghana’s worst-ever performance at the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon earlier this year.
Rajevac, who was appointed Ghana manager for a second time in November last year, failed to win a single game at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.

“I still have scores to settle with Black Stars. Nobody knows what the future holds,” he said on Akoma FM, as quoted by Pulse. “Ghana is my second home so if there is another opportunity for me to go there I will seriously consider it.
“Last time I didn’t have enough time to implement everything I wanted like the first time in Ghana. To achieve big goals, time is of the essence.”
Rajevac was appointed Ghana coach for the first time in 2008 and led the West African nation to the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations final. A late goal by Mohammed Gedo propelled Egypt to their seventh title against Ghana.
A few months later, Rajevac made history when he led the Black Stars to the quarter-finals of the World Cup.

Earlier, sports letter reported that the Ghana Football Association has sacked Black Stars coach Milovan Rajevac after the poor Africa Cup of Nations 2021 in Cameroon.
The Serbia coach leaves four months after replacing CK Akonnor as head coach of the national team.
The FA would reportedly release an official statement to confirm the manager’s departure in January this year.
