Tucson Man Sentenced to 33 Months for Sexual Abuse of a Minor

TUCSON, Ariz. - On Sept. 27, 2022, Eric Christopher Segundo-Antone, 22, of Tucson, Arizona, was sentenced by United States District Judge John C. Hinderaker to 33 months in prison followed by a lifetime of supervised release. Segundo-Antone previously pleaded guilty to Sexual Abuse of a Minor.

Sometime between June 1, 2018, and Dec. 31, 2018, Segundo-Antone, an enrolled member of the Tohono O’odham Nation, engaged in a sexual act with the victim, who was 14 years old at the time. The offense occurred on the Tohono O’odham Indian Reservation in the village of Topawa.

The Tohono O’odham Nation Police Department and the FBI conducted the investigation in this case. Assistant U.S. Attorney Frances M. Kreamer Hope, District of Arizona, Tucson, handled the prosecution.
