Upcoming Webinars

December 1: Live Webinar on Strategies and Resources for Reducing Plugload Energy Use in Your Buildings

Webinar Sponsor: Better Buildings Initiative

The Energy Department will present a live webinar titled "Plug into Energy Savings: Strategies and Resources for Reducing Plugload Energy Use in Your Buildings," on Tuesday, Dec. 1, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Think you've done all you can to upgrade your buildings? Look no further than your plug and process loads where you can likely find a treasure trove of energy efficiency opportunities. This webinar will include a discussion by an industry expert from our National Renewable Energy Laboratory on simple, low-cost and portable plug- and process-loads interventions. Partner organizations will share how they have addressed plug and process loads in their buildings, including a presentation by Stanford University, sharing its successes in creating a plugload inventory, analysis, and action plan to reduce associated energy consumption. The U.S. General Services Administration will also present one of its marquee projects showing the federal government leading by example and highlighting strategies for reducing plug and process loads in an historic, zero-energy building retrofit.
