August 26: Live Webinar on a Technology Innovation Competition

The Energy Department will present a live webinar titled “JUMP SIEMENS Call for Innovation" on Friday, Aug. 26, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.Eastern Daylight Time. Join this webinar to learn about JUMP, an online community seeking your input for technology innovation. Ideas are now being accepted for the Crowdsourcing Call on the Internet of Things. Sponsored by Siemens, the Call is seeking innovative ideas for the use of personal “smart" devices to interact with public spaces. Through JUMP, Siemens and Oak Ridge National Laboratory seek to engage the public in gathering ideas to explore this concept. Winners will receive a $5,000 cash award, an up to $20,000 in-kind contribution, and may also be invited to discuss collaboration with both organizations to advance ideas to the market.

August 30: Live Webinar on International Hydrogen Infrastructure

Webinar Sponsors: Fuel Cells Technologies Office

The Energy Department will present a live webinar titled "International Hydrogen Infrastructure Update" on Tuesday, Aug. 30, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. This webinar will introduce the current status of the technology in several countries, including Japan and Germany. Several perspectives on global hydrogen refueling infrastructure initiatives will be provided.
