DOE Releases Final Request for Proposal for Hanford 222-S Laboratory Contract

Cincinnati--The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) today issued a Final Request for Proposal (RFP) for a contract to provide analytical chemistry production services, and research studies and analysis, as well as operate and maintain the 222-S Analytical Laboratory Facilities to support the Hanford Site Environmental Cleanup. The total estimated value of the contract is approximately $868 million over a period of up to 7 years, including option periods. The current 222- S Laboratory Contract at Hanford held by Wastren Advantage, Inc., expires on Sept. 20, 2019.

DOE anticipates awarding a contract that includes cost-reimbursement and cost-plus-award-fee contract line items. The Final RFP is a small business set-aside.
