Availability of Low-Interest Physical Loss Loans for Producers Affected by Natural Disasters in Wisconsin

Physical loss loans can help producers repair or replace damaged or destroyed physical property essential to the success of the agricultural operation, including livestock losses. Examples of property commonly affected include essential farm buildings, fixtures to real estate, equipment, livestock, perennial crops, fruit and nut bearing trees and harvested or stored crops and hay.

State: Wisconsin

Triggering Disaster Event: Severe storms that occurred June 13-15, 2022

Application Deadline: May 15, 2023

Primary Counties Eligible: Jefferson and Monroe

Contiguous Areas also Eligible: Wisconsin: Dane, Dodge, Jackson, Juneau, La Crosse, Rock, Vernon, Walworth and Waukesha
