SEPT. 30, 2016 - These data include single-year estimates of the number of firms, number of establishments, employment and annual payroll. Data are presented by state, industry and enterprise employment size.
The 2012-2013 Statistics of U.S. Businesses: Employment Change tables are also being released and include number of establishments and corresponding employment change for births, deaths, expansions and contractions between 2012 and 2013. The data are tabulated by geographic area, industry and enterprise employment size.
